Cheques distributed to self-help groups under NULM

 HOWRAGHAT, Dec 22: Thirty registered women Self-Help Groups (SHGs) of Diphu town were distributed a revolving fund of Rs 10, 000 in cheque under the tiol Urban Livelihood Mission (NULM) of Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, Government of India.

The cheques of Rs 10,000 were distributed to each SHG at a meeting held at Diphu Club. The cheque distribution function was organized by City Mission Magement Unit, the implementing body of NULM attached to the office of Diphu Town Committee. The cheques were officially handed over to the women SHGs by Dorsing Ronghang, EM KAAC.

The programme was chaired by Principal Secretary, KAAC, Jayshree Daulaguph, Deputy Secretary, KAAC David Kr. Timung; Dhaneswar Engti, Joint Secretary, KAAC. Besides, Deputy Director, Town and Country Planning and Executive Officer, NULM, Ruben Ronghang and others were also present during the cheque distribution ceremonial function.
