Cheques distributed to storm-affected victims

HAMREN, Oct 11: Cheques were distributed to the storm-affected victims on Monday at Koilamati weekly market, under Nilip MAC constituency. The cheque distribution programme was chaired by Prodip Phangcho, president of BJP Nilip Mondal committee and attended by Dr. Numol Momin, MLA of Bokajan, as chief guest and MAC Pobitra Rongpi and MAC Mukut Mohanta as guests of honour.

The relief grant was release by the Central Government through the tural Disaster Magement Committee. A storm hit many areas under Nilip MAC constituency in May this year and many houses and property were destroyed. Cheques were distributed among 94 victims.
