Chhat Puja celebrated in Kamrup district

Rangia, November 17: Chhat Puja was celebrated in the entire Kamrup district along with the rest of the country on Tuesday. It was celebrated in Rangia, Amingaon, Sualkuchi, Hajo, Chhaygaon and Boko in Kamrup district. The celebration will conclude tomorrow. A cultural programme was held at night. Thousands of devotee thronged the banks of rivers  Barolia, Brahmaputra and Jaljali. The devotees will worship the Sun tomorrow early in the morning
