Chhath Puja celebration

DEMOW, November 6: Chhath Puja, the festival dedicated to the Sun God, started from Saturday with religious fervour and devotion. On Monday, devotees will light earthen lamps in Demow River and will pray to Chhati Maiya. The Puja committee has kept volunteers on both sides of the river so that the devotees can perform the Puja smoothly.
