Chhaygayan Lokautsav celebrated

Boko, January 25: Chhaygayan Lokautsav was celebrated at Chaygaon recently where folk artistes performed various dances belonging to all the tribes and communities residing in the area. Greater Chhaygaon is known for its rich traditiol heritage of folk art and culture. The excavated ruins of Champakgar and legend of Chando Sadagar-Sati Beula recall the glorious rich heritage and culture. The people of Chhaygaon organized the Lokautsav to provide a common platform to the folk artistes, to honour them and to exhibit the traditiol culture.
