Chi blasts toll rises to 116

Beijing, August 21: The death toll in the deadly blasts in a warehouse in Chi rose to 116 on Friday while 60 people are still missing, rescue headquarters said. All of the victims were identified via D matching, Xinhua cited the headquarters as saying.
Of the dead, 65 were firefighters, and seven were police officers. Among the missing, 39 are firefighters while four are confirmed to be police officers. The blasts took place on August 12 in a warehouse in Tianjin city of Chi. (IANS)
