Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi to visit Guwahati on Saturday for 'Kamakhya Darshan'

Guwahati: Chief Justice of India, Ranjan Gogoi is arriving in Guwahati at around 1 pm on November 17, 2018, for 'Kamakhya Darshan' in view of the Assam Government lapses in organizing and smooth conduct of his last visit to Kamakhya on Maha Asthami on October 17, 2018.

CJI Gogoi had refused to accept any hospitality of protocol support from the State Government for his Saturday visit.

It may also be mentioned that his travel to Guwahati and Kamakhya Darshan in the afternoon is being coordinated by the union home ministry with only central armed forces/army deputed for his protocol and security arrangement during his short stay at Guwahati.
