Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal to lay foundation stone of Dibrugarh Sub-Project

Dibrugarh: Under the aegis of the Flood and River Erosion Management Agency of Assam of Water Resources Department, Assam, the foundation stone laying ceremony of Dibrugarh Sub-Project, Tranche-II (Brahmaputra River Front Development at Dibrugarh and Project Facility Centre of Water Resources Department) will be held on October 24.

The event, supposed to be held near the control room of Dibrugarh Water Resources Division, will have Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal laying the foundation of the project. The other dignitaries expected to be present on the occasion include State Water Resources Minister Keshab Mahanta; State Agriculture Minister Atul Bora; MP Rameshwar Teli and MLAs Prasanta Phukan and Rituparna Baruah. The project will be funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
