Chief Secretary visits gaon

GAON (HAIBORGAON), Feb 13: Chief Secretary of the Assam Government, Vinod Kumar Pipersenia on Sunday visited gaon town and took feedback about the cleanliness drive being launched in greater gaon town from all sectors, including MLA of gaon Sadar LAC, Rupak Sarma, the Deputy Commissioner, chairperson of municipality board, ward commissioners and senior citizens of the town.  In a face-to-face interaction programme held at gaon Circuit House auditorium, Pipersenia expressed his happiness that gaon town, out of total 500 towns in the entire country, was in the ninth position and it was due to the steps and initiatives of the people of the district as well as gaon town.
