Child drowns in Golaghat

Golaghat, May 26: A wave of shock prevailed on Thursday in Golaghat when a child was feared drowned in a pond. According to the report, a seven-year-old child and student of Dharampur LP School of Kachomari in Golaghat on Thursday went along with his friends and went missing. Later his friends informed the parents and local people that the child fell into a pond. The local people and parents rescued the child from the pond and was taken to the hospital but the doctors declared him brought dead.
