Child drowns to death

Joysagar, May 28: A five-year old child died by drowning in a pond near his house on Saturday at Teok Tea Estate of Sori of Charaidew district. The deceased was identified as Munu Mirdha (5), son of Ranjit Mirdha, a worker of the tea estate. Police recovered the boy’s body and sent it to Sori Civil Hospital for postmortem.
