Child killed in fire mishap, 14 houses gutted

Bongaigaon, Dec 7: Around 14 houses were gutted and a six-year old child died in a fire accident that occurred in Garo Dokan area of North Salmara Part I under Salmara Police outpost in Bongaigaon district on Wednesday.

A child med Kuran Ali (6), son of Sattar Ali, died in this accident.  Later fire brigade from Abhayapuri arrived and controlled the fire. According to local people, the fire was caused due to short circuit.
