Child labourer rescued

Tezpur, July14: In an venture of the district administration to prevent child labour, a patrolling team led by Extra Assistant Commissioner, Sanghamitra Bhagawati, on Wednesday searched the house of Jatindra th, Deputy Director of Tezpur Agriculture Department, at Hazarapar in Sonitpur district under Lalmati PS and rescued a minor girl (12), later identified as Sunita Rajbanshi from Bihali under Sonitpur district.  Sanghamitra Bhagawati said that last year, around 49 child labourers were rescued through police operation and later, 40 of them were re-established and this year 13 child labourers had been rescued so far.
