Child labourers rescued

Joysagar, Feb 14: Sivasagar District Task Force, with the cooperation of the District Labour Department and District Police, conducted sudden operation in some factories, garages and households where children had been forcefully engaged as labourers. In such an operation, two child labourers were rescued from a factory situated in Rudrasagar area of Sivasagar district. After medical check-up, the children were sent to the government child care home, sources said.
