Child prodigy Kavyam Kashyap felicitated in Delhi

Pathsala, Nov 17: Child prodigy Kavyam Kashyap has been felicitated at the Siri Fort Auditorium in Delhi recently with a medal and a certificate in a mega event ‘Indian Record Holders at World Stage’ as one of top 100 record holders for excellence. More than 700 record holders in different categories coming from 10 countries were felicitated in this grand programme held by ‘India Book of Records’ in association with ‘Asia Book of Records’. Kavyam who is known as ‘Assam Google Boy’ is the only son of Prab Sarma and Pampi Sarma, an inhabitant of Milanpur, Pathsala is a student of class three in Pathsala Sikshapith Adarsha High School, Pathsala.

This wonder boy with an extraordiry memory power has already inscribed his me two times in India Book of Records by translating 516 words from English to Assamese within a short period of 12 minutes at the tender age of 5. He also surprised the audience in a programme held in Titabar, Jorhat by answering 66 questions about late Deva Kumar Borah’s life within 5 minutes. Kavyam is, at present able to answer more than 510 questions on general knowledge of tiol and intertiol topics within a short span of 22 minutes. Students and teachers of Pathsala Sikshapith Adarsha High School on Friday held a procession to celebrate the achievements of Kavyam.
