Child Protection Day observed

DIBRUGARH, MARCH 7: The Child Protection Day, 2015, organized by Dibrugarh Child Protection Cell at ndeswar Chakraborty High School recently was chaired by the headmistress of the school, Manju Agamcharyya.

Member of Dibrugarh Child Welfare Samittee, Rinima Devi spoke about the purpose of the meeting. A number of distinguished persolities including Regiol Executive Officer of Upper Assam unit of Social Welfare Department, Social Welfare Officer, Dibrugarh, Additiol

Superintendent of Police, Programme Officers of Sarba Siksha Abhiyan, secretary, Dibrugarh Bal Sakha, Coorditor of Childline addressed the awareness meeting , organized on the occasion.

Speakers, in their respective speeches spoke on the significance of the day and stressed more mass awareness for success of the programme.

The children of Smile and students of ndeswar Chakraborty School performed drama, mono acting, dance and also presented chorus and modern songs on the occasion. In her presidential address, the headmistress of the school , Agamacharyya sought people’s active support and cooperation to make the motto of the day a grand success.
