Child rights panel chairperson

Shillong: July 21. The current Chairperson of the Meghalaya State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (MSCPCR), Mee Kharkongor, has been retained for a second tenure even as the State government is on a lookout for three other individuals to fill the vacant posts. The tenure of the MSCPCR has already lapsed and the search to fill the post is expected to be carried out through a search committee.
