Children drama workshop begins

DEMOW, July 3: Under the patroge of Demow Acting Academy and Cultural Kala Kendra in 673 No Demow Town Primary School, from Sunday, a children drama workshop has started. Pratik Gogoi, noted theatre director gave training on Sunday to the students. Arun Hazarika, Dipak Bhuyan, Dr. Anil Saikia, Surajit Gogoi along with various dignitaries of the theatre field will give training to the students in the upcoming days of the workshop, said a member of organizing committee. The children drama workshop has been organized in memory of artiste Indra Baniya. A general meeting was held on Sunday on the occasion of the iuguration of the workshop and in that meeting,  a book titled Karani was released by Krish Kumar Tanti, Education Officer of Demow Block Primary. The general meeting was presided over by Gha Kanta Gogoi, former Principal of Demow Higher Secondary School. The workshop will end on July 6.
