Children Film Festival organized

JOWAI, Sept 21: The Children Film Society of India (CFSI), Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and Cine Darbaar in collaboration with the Directorate of Information and Public Relations, and the office of Assistant Director organized Children Film Festival today at District Library Auditorium, Mynthong in Jowai.
Two films were screened as part of the festival –‘Kima’s Lodge-Beyond the Class’ and ‘Mother I Love you’. Students from different Schools of Jowai attended the festival.
Parliament Secretary, Government of Meghalaya Robinus Syngkon graced the iugural function as Chief Guest. Speaking on the occasion, Robinus Syngkon, Parliamentary Secretary advises the students to watch meaningful movies that will help them to visualize their career in future. He also called upon the students to watch carefully and attentively the movie presented and to carry the good message they have got from the film.
