Children home iugurated

DEMOW, Aug 30: Sopur Social Development Society, an NGO, has opened a children home in a rented house near Hari Pora Road at Srimonto gar in front of Demow College. The children home was iugurated on Tuesday. Monuroma Morang, Demow Circle Officer iugurated the children home Sapun in the presence of  Monika Saikia, chairperson of Child Welfare Committee (CWC) of Sivasagar district and Dibya Deori, Officer of District Child Protect Committee (DCPU).

Rupa Chetia, Protection Officer of NIC anchored the programme and Sanjay Prasad Sah, president of Sopur Social Development Society, spoke about the aims and objectives of the programme.
