JOYSAGAR, June 26: Sahitya Academy Award-2017 for children Literature winner and educationist Harendrath Barthakur was felicitated by many social organizations on Sunday at Amolapatty Hindu-dharma Sabha mghar auditorium of Sivasagar. The felicitation programme was organized by cultural organization “ tyapith”, Sivasagar. This organization has been publishing the collection of children dramas written by H.N. Barthakur. The programme was anchored by tyapith Secretary Prasanta Sarma and Dr. Anindita Borgohain presided over the meeting. Altogether, fifteen social and cultural organizations felicitated the award winning writer. Harendrath Barthakur in his speech thanked all for showering their love and affection. He said that to become a successful children writer he had to work hard with dedication.
