Children's Factory to give rural children platform

KOKRAJHAR, APRIL 24: With a view to hunt the talent of rural children in different fields, Keshab Mashahary, an NSD from Chattisgarh, set up Children’s Factory with the theme ‘Dreams from my village’ at Bashbari, Bismuri, a rural area in Kokrajhar district on Sunday in the presence of intellectuals and artistes from different places, including Arunachal Pradesh.

The president of NERSWN NGO Raju Kr. Narzary inaugurated the main gate of the factory while noted writer Dr. Sunil Phukan Basumatary and secretary of the ABSU, Rongina Borgoyary inaugurated the performing room and storage of materials respectively. Besides, the 135th Bn. of Eco Task Force planted saplings with the children of the locality in the premises of Children’s Factory in connivance with the observation of International Earth Day. The Major of the Eco Task Force, Uttam Chakravarty graced the occasion as chief guest. He also attended the meeting of the Children’s Factory and delivered speech.

In his speech, the president of the NERSWN NGO, Raju Kr. Narzary said the Children’s Factory was a noble initiative of Keshab Mashahary to hunt for children with talents in different fields. He hoped that Children’s Factory would be a unique identity of a rural place like Bishmuri in the near future. He said that it would provide opportunity to the children of vulnerable areas to demonstrate their talent and move ahead in life.
