Child's body recovered

BONGAIGAON, April 9: The body of a child was recovered in an abandoned Railway office building in Bongaigaon near Bongaigaon Railway station. Local people said that they noticed the rotten body on Thursday morning. “The body was lying in the office of the Railway Construction’s telecom department. This office has not been used since quite a long time. We immediately informed the police. Police sent the body to Barpeta for post mortem,” said a person of the area. The deceased is a boy of around 7 years-8 years of age. Few injury marks were seen on the body. Police investigation is on.
