Chilli powder thrown at UP BJP legislator

Lucknow, Sept 12: Unidentified assailants threw chilli powder at a Bhartiya Jata Party (BJP) legislator in Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffargar district on Monday, police said. Kapil Dev Agarwal was meeting with local people in his residence when three young men came to him under pretext of sorting out some problem and threw the chilli powder at him and fled. The assailants escaped on a bike. The legislator has been admitted to a private hospital. (IANS)
