Circle Officers ordered to prevent government land encroachment

Golaghat, April 17:  The Deputy Commissioner of Golaghat, Varli Deka has ordered all the Revenue Circle Officers to keep vigil so that no government land can be encroached in the revenue circle areas.

The Deputy Commissioner (DC) gave the order during the meeting of the District Development Committee for the current month held at the DC office. The DC ordered the Circle Officers of Golaghat, Dergaon, Khumtai, Bokakhat, Sarupathar and Marangi Revenue Circles to take steps to prevent government land encroachment. Also, flood-related matters were discussed in the meeting and DC Varli Deka ordered the officials of Town and Country Planning to clear the blocked drains with the help of Municipality to prevent artificial flood in the town. Also, she ordered all departments to be on alert for any type of tural calamity.
