City college conducts cleanliness drive

SHILLONG, Oct 2: The Khadsawphra College, Mairang conducted the cleaning drive of its surrounding area as part of the Swachh Bharat Campaign on September 30 last.

Lambok Nongrang, Chairman C&RD Block Mairang, who also took part in the cleaning campaign, urged the students of the college to maintain cleanliness not only in the college and at home but everywhere they go like the market place roads, so that they set an example to others to do the same.

Boldness L Nongum, Principal of the College in his speech enlightened the students about the craving of the Father of the tion, Mahatma Gandhi to make India the cleanest country in the world.

 The programme was led by ambassador of the Swachh Bharat Mission of the college which has been constituted by the office of the SDO(C) Mairang in the presence of the students ,teachers and members of the Maging Committee of the college.
