City Cricket Club storm into semis

GUWAHATI, March 14: City Cricket club marched into the semi fil of the Servo 22nd Guwahati Challenge Trophy All Assam Prize Money Cricket tourment today. The side in the second quarter fil defeated 90's Re-Union Club by a huge margin of 107 runs.  Raju Das of winning team scored century in the game. He took 70 balls to play the knock of 105 runs with the help of eight boundaries and two over boundaries.  Tarjinder Singh contributed 62 runs on the board. Later Abhay Yadav (5-23) bowled a brilliant spell which restrict 90's Re-Union Club to 163. Tauhid  Ali Talukdar (50) fought lone battler for his team with the bat. Earlier City Cricket club, elected to bat, scored 270-5 in 40 overs.
