City to face Metro in fil

GUWAHATI, April 25: City Cricket Club (A) entered into the fil of the Golap Hazarika and Arati Hazarika T20 Cricket tourment defeating Gauhati Town club by 16 runs in the second semi fil held at the Judges ground here today. Invited to bat, City Cricket Club, rode on two quick knocks from  Rahul Hazarika (30 of 16 balls) and Kalyan Gogoi (31 of 25 balls), posted 157 runs on the board losing all wickets. yanjyoti Deka (4-23) of Gauhati Town Club came out with best bowling figure for his team. In reply Gauhati Town club maged to score 141-4 in their 20 overs. Govinda Rajbongshi (45) was the top scorer for Gauhati Town club while Ram Kripal Gupta contributed 41 runs on the board.  Nipon Deka of winning team, who picked up 2 wickets for 19 runs, adjudged man of the match award. The fil will be held on Wednesday where City Cricket club (A) will meet Metro Sports club.
