City to host intertiol conference on advances in notechnology

GUWAHATI, Aug 25: The Intertiol Conference on Advances in notechnology (iCAN) 2017 is planned jointly by Assam Don Bosco University (ADBU), Guwahati and Sustaible notechnology Organization (SNO), USA. It will be the first Intertiol level conference in notechnology to be organized by Assam Don Bosco University as a continuation of its efforts to promote an environment of research and development in notechnology in the North Eastern region of India. The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, School of Technology, Assam Don Bosco University has already successfully conducted two tiol Workshops in notechnology, Imagineno2014 in December 2014 and Amazingno2016 in February 2016 and received good feedback from the participants. Since its inception, SNO has conducted 5 workshops on various aspects of notechnology with emphasis on Sustaible notechnology. It has successfully conducted 4 Intertiol conferences and the fifth one is scheduled for November 10th – 12th, 2016 in Orlando, Florida. iCAN2017 will be the 6th Intertiol conference to be conducted by SNO and the 1st in India. iCAN2017 also includes a workshop by SNO on Sustaible notechnology. The convener, Sundan Baruah has informed that iCAN2017, scheduled to be held from 9th till 13th of January 2017 at the Azara campus of Assam Don Bosco University, aims to bring together researchers from across the globe working in diverse areas of noscience and notechnology to interact and exchange new ideas and also to explore possible collaborations. Reputed scientists from Stanford University, State University of New York, tiol Science Foundation, USA, KTH Sweden, Uppsala University, Sweden, North Dakota State University, Arizo State University, tiol Science & Technology Development Agency, Thailand, Asian Institute of Technology, IITs and NITs will be present as invited speakers. Last date for submission of abstracts is 15th September. Good quality papers will be published in Environmental Science: no from RSC and ADBU Jourl of Engineering Technology.
