Civic action programme held by SSB in border villages

KOKRAJHAR, April 25: The 16th Bn.SSB, Ranighuli, organized a two-day veteriry and one-day medical civic action programme recently at Sopur ME school under the area of jurisdiction of BOP, Sopur of 16th Bn. Medical team and veteriry team of 16th Bn. held a camp at Sopur village and treated local people of nearby villages of Maiguri, Sopur, Bangaon and Dadgiri areas of district Chirang. People were made aware about various kinds of diseases, precautions and preventive methods and were given medicines for various diseases. Under the overall supervision of Dr K.S Shekhawat, MO, 16th Bn SSB, total 143 persons were treated during the programme. On the other hand, the veteriry camp was held for two days and a large number of animals were treated during the civic programme.
