Civic action programme organized

TANGLA, Feb 22: The 37 Bn SSB, Mangaldoi deployed at Indo-Bhutan Border of Udalguri organized Civic Action Programme at  Jorapukhuri ME School one of the six SSB adopted School, under Bangurum Border out post(BOP) on Tuesday. In the programme, Shiv Gopal Shukla, Commandant, 37BN, SSB iugurated the event which was attended by a large number of student from the SSB adopted School.

School principals of Jorapukhuri ME School, including principal of Subash Boro Memorial ME School, Tankibasti and bajyoti ME School, lapara, village elders and village heads from nearby villages attended the programme.

During the event, the student of Jorapukhuri ME School performed various cultural programme.  Three schools were distributed with desk-benches viz. Jorapukhuri ME School, bajyoti ME School lapara, and Subash Boro memorial high School, Tankibasti by AK Mallik, Deputy Inspector General, SHQ, SSB Tezpur. Both AK Mallik, DIG, and  Shiv Gopal Shukla, Commandant 37 BN SSB Mangaldoi emphasized on development and maintence  of infrastructures in schools along with adequate facilities for the bright future of students.

The repair works of floor, windows and kitchen room of Jaripbasti LP School, Saya Basti LP School and Rajagarh LP School were also done under civic action programme.
