Civic body workers stage strike

HAFLONG, July 21: The All Assam Civic Body Workers’ Federation and the Haflong Town Committee Employees’ Association from today started a seven-day strike here in support of their various demands. The All Assam Civic Body Workers Federation has been demanding for provincialisation of services and pension benefit and also release of grant in aid in time as recommended by the group of Ministers and approved by the cabinet.
