Civil Services Day observed

Tezpur, April 22: The 12th Civil Services Day was celebrated on Saturday at the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s office. It was organized by the Sonitpur district administration. Speaking on the occasion, Sonitpur Deputy Commissioner Manoj Kumar Deka said that the day was observed to motivate and appreciate the works done and efforts and contribution made by the civil servants.

 During the event, Farouk Alam, DDC Sonitpur, gave  a power-point presentation on Civil Service Day and the Sonitpur DC felicitated three best performing departments in Sonitpur - PHE, Divisional Forest  and Excise.
