Clarification sought from NIOS

SHILLONG, Nov 3: The Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) trainee batch 2013, consisting of more than 4000 teachers, in a meeting held at the Khasi tiol Dorbar Hall has unimously decided to seek clarification from the head office of tiol Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) located in Delhi on the delay to fulfil their demand for announcing fresh results. The meeting was held by the trainee teachers after no announcement of fresh result was made despite the assurance from the Director of NIOS Guwahati that fresh results will be announced on October 31.  The trainee teachers have also decided to submit a memorandum on the resolution taken by them in the meeting to Roshan Warjri, Minister Higher and Technical Education on November 7, to immediately rectify their grievances along with a written assurance to them.
