HAMREN, Oct 2: The birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi was observed on Monday at the Gandhi Park, Diphu. Tribute was paid to the great leader by KAAC CEM Tuliram Ronghang and EM Amorsing Tisso, EM Pradeep Rongpi, EM Khonsing Rongpi, J Doalagopu, Principal Secretary, KAAC and other dignitaries. In the morning, a cleanliness drive at Diphu Civil Hospital was also conducted. The cleanliness drive was organized by the District Health Society/ tion Health Mission Karbi Anglong. CEM Ronghang urged the hospital authority to keep the hospital campus clean and also appealed to the people to cooperate to keep the surroundings clean for a healthy environment. He also instructed the EM i/c Medical and Joint Director Medical and Health Services for construction and modification of garden and boundary wall of the hospital.
