Cleanliness drive at Hojai

Hojai, Oct 4: In response to the call by Prime Minister rendra Modi to begin the ‘Swachhata Hi Seva’ campaign from September 15 to October 2, the third anniversary of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and Gandhi Jayanti was observed by Believers Eastern Church Satgaon Diocese as ‘Swachh Bharat Ahijan’ in the heart of Dokomoka town in Karbi Anglong recently.

Many Believers,  young and old, living in the interior areas of Karbi Anglong responded to the call of the Prime Minister by taking part in the programme.

The cleanliness drive was carried in the campus of Public Health Centre of Dokmoka Market and also at the tiol highway of Dokmoka town.  The programme was attended by Rev Fr Thanghao, Diocese Secretary, Dn Topon Milik, Sisters of Compassion and many other leaders of the Church.
