Cleanliness drive at Tangla Police Station

TANGLA, August 7: The Village Defense Party members conducted a cleanliness drive under the Swacch Bharat Abhiyan in the premises of Tangla Police Station  with a view to create good sanitation around the town on Sunday.

Along with nearly 100 members of Tangla VDP, including president Kulen Bora and secretary Sarbeswar Rabha, Dhirendra Kalita, OC Tangla PS also actively took part in the cleanliness drive. Nearly 100 members of Tangla VDP along with president Kulen Bora and secretary Sarbeswar Rabha carried out the cleanliness drive.

A VDP member said efforts were being made to create a hazard-free environment through Swachh Bharat Abhiyan Mission.
