Cleanliness drive by 47 Assam Remount & Veteriry NCC

Guwahati, Sept 26: A cleanliness awareness drive was kicked off by cadets of 47 Assam R&V Sqn NCC, Khapara Guwahati under aegis of Gp HQ NCC, Guwahati in the tion wide campaign on 'Swachhta Hi Sewa' from September 15 to October 2 with an aim to intensify the focus and create an environment of cleanliness across the country. A total of 125 boys and girl cadets, under the guidance of officer commanding Lt Col Rahul Dubey, carried out the awareness drive at Khapara.

The aim of 'safai abhiyan' was to maintain ecological and environmental balance, motivate youth to participate in Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and to make aware public about necessity to keep surroundings clean They spread the message in every nook and corner of the nearby areas. This was  stated in a press release.
