Cleanliness drive conducted

SHILLONG, Aug 28: Staffs and officers of different departments of Secretariat Mati Building conducted a cleaning drive on Saturday.

The different departments included the office of the Chief Inspector of Boilers and Factories, Meghalaya State Legal Service Authority, Deputy Controller of Civil Defence, Meghalaya Institute of Entrepreneurs, Post Office and Secretariat Branch.

Other government departments like the Municipal Board and PWD Building also took part in the cleaning drive and the fincial aid for the drive was sponsored by the Secretariat Administration Department (SAD).

Staffs of the Mati building office informed that the cleaning drive is being conducted every year however this year it’s more successful because of the way in which the cleaning drive is being organised by the officers.
