Cleanliness drive in Golaghat

Golaghat, March 25: Don Bosco College, Golaghat, in association with Parivartan, an NGO, conducted a cleanliness drive on Friday in Golaghat.  The participants of thecleanliness drive gathered at the Sacred Heart School and were given motivatiol talks to take part actively in the same and promote cleanliness in the country. Leander Toppo, the director of Parivartan, explained about Swachh Bharat Abhiyan and exhorted people to put in a voluntary service of 100 hours a year. Over 150 students, staff of the college and the local people joined in the drive. They cleaned the main road from the Railway Gate No 3 to the Halmirah Bridge along the Dhodar Ali - Halmira road.
