Cleanliness drive in Kalaigaon

KALAIGAON, May 7: Following the Prime Minister rendra Modi’s call for Swachh Bharat Abhijan, Kalaigaon unit of Patanjali Yuva Bharat conducted a cleanliness drive on Sunday at Balipara Bazar near Kalaigaon town.

More than 100 people joined the drive. The entire Balipara Bazar was cleaned along with PWD road Mekenzi at Balipara. Addressing the people, Partha Pratim Sarkar, yoga teacher of Patanjali Yuva Bharat, said that the cleanliness drive was conducted on the occasion of a workshop on yoga. He also added that the workshop on yoga had started in the premise of Balipara Durga Mandir from April 23 to create an environment for good health. Several social workers like Harakanta Das, Dharani Mandal and Sandhya Rani Das took part in this drive.
