Cleanliness drive organized on Gandhi Jayanti

HAMREN, October 2: On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, on Sunday  a cleanliness drive was organized by Klirdap Welfare Society, Diphu (NGO) and Hemphi Development Society, Rongtheso with the cooperation of Nehru Yuva Kendra, Diphu. The cleanliness drive started from Gandhi Park premises and the main market areas of Diphu were also cleaned. On the other hand, Bikrom Teron, in-charge EE PHE (Urban) and Surumai Timungpi, Assistant Engineer, Council Work, KAAC, also led a cleanliness drive at Diphu town ward no 4 area with cooperation of the public. The cleanliness drive was organized by the PHE Department, KAAC.
