CM and Central Ministers to grace camp for divyangjan

Silchar, Feb 26: Sarbanda Sonowal, Chief Minister of Assam, along with two Central Ministers of State, Krishanpal Gurjar and Thaawarchand Gehlot, are coming to Silchar to grace the free distribution camp of aids and appliances today. According to the official statement, the camp will be held at the Town Club ground and the programme for distribution of aids and appliances to the disabled persons will begin after the speeches of the Chief Minister and the Central Ministers. Token distributions of aids and appliances include 3 set each of tri-cycle, wheelchair, hearing aids, smart cane and smart phone. The noble programme will begin with the lighting of the iuguration lamp followed by the welcome speech of Awanish Kumar Awasthi, joint secretary, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DoEPWD), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (MOSJE). After that Krishanpal Gurjar, Minister of State MOSJE, and Thaawarchand Gehlot, Minister of State MOSJE, Government of India, and Sarbanda Sonowal, Chief Minister of Assam, will deliver their speeches. The function will wind up with vote of thanks by Lt. Col. P K Dubey (Rtd.).
