CM inquires about Xatradhikar’s health

Doomdooma, Dec 3: Chief Minister Sarbanda Sonowal inquired over phone about the health of Tipuk Mayamora Simaluguri Brajapur Xatra’s Xatradhikar Shri Shri Lachem Chandra Goswami who has been ailing for quite some time, and directed the Deputy Commissioner of Tinsukia, Ranjan Chakraborty to extend all possible help for his treatment from the administration’s side. Accordingly,  DC Chakraborty and Additiol Deputy Commissioner-cum-Circle Officer in-charge Doomdooma Revenue Circle, yanjyoti Bhagawati paid a visit to the Xatradhikar’s house and advised him to get himself admitted in Tinsukia Civil Hospital. They also visited the erosion site of Antala which has eroded away a large chunk of xatra land over the years and has threatened the very existence of the xatra itself.
