CM inspects construction of Dholai-Sadiya bridge

TINSUKIA, July 3: In his maiden visit to Tinsukia district as Chief Minister, Sarbanda Sonowal on Sunday visited Dholla and inspected construction of the much-hyped world’s longest river bridge over Brahmaputra River that connects Dholla on the southern side and Sadiya on the northern end in Tinsukia district. He instructed officials concerned to complete the work before March next so that the bridge could be opened for public before Bihu (middle of April), declaring further that this magnificent bridge would be christened later on. He also interacted with the people of Sadiya in the northern bank.
