CM launches Radio Mirchi 91.1 FM in Shillong

SHILLONG, March 17: Meghalaya Chief Minister, Dr. Mukul Sangma on Friday launched Radio Mirchi 91.1 FM at a function held at the State Convention Centre, Shillong in presence of Meghalaya Sports and Youth Affairs Minister, Zenith M. Sangma. Speaking at the launch and unveiling of Mirchi 91.1 FM logo, Dr. Mukul Sangma said, "I am very happy that a tiol brand of such repute is setting up a shop here, I am sure we will soon see that Mirchi has become an integral part of the cultural and social fabric of Shillong". He added, "It is befitting to the people and the music lovers of the State, where the whole way of life revolves around music." RJ Gordon, RJ Marisa and RJ Nicky J, who will host the shows on Mirchi 91.1 FM were also introduced during the launch.
