GAURISAGAR, October 28: The reception committee of the 85th annual conference of Srimanta Sankardev Sangha is ready to host 30 lakh bhaktas who will assemble for the four-day conference. For the bhaktas the reception committee is planning to cultivate 100 quintal potato seeds at the historic Rajabahar toop of Dikhowmukh in the eastern part of Sivasagar district. The committee has already purchased 50 quintal potato seeds. On the request of the reception committee, the remaining 50 quintal seeds were provided by the Chief Minister on Wednesday through the agriculture department, said Anda Kumar Borah, general secretary of the reception committee. He also said that on November 1, 100 quintal potato seeds will planted in 30 bighas of land at Rajabahar toop of Dikhowmukh with the help Krishi Pam of Dikhowmukh in presence of all reception committee members and well wishers of the Sangha.
