CM Sarbananda Sonowal Provides Financial Aid to Former Axom Xahitya Xabha President

GUWAHATI, Aug 13: State’s Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal has provided a financial aid of Rs 50,000 by cheque to noted academician, researcher of folklore, singer and lyricists Birendra Nath Datta for his better treatment from the Chief Minister’s relief fund on Monday. The aid was handed over to Dutta visiting his residence by Chief Minister’s Chief Personal Secretary Gautam Das. Earlier, the Chief Minister’s Media Adviser Hrishikesh Goswami also visited the residence of Dutta and took stock of his health condition.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal prayed almighty God for Datta’s early recovery. Notably, Datta has been suffering from ailments over the couple of days.
