CM Sarbananda Sonowal Urges Employees To Develop Spirit Of ‘Team Assam’

GUWAHATI: Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal called upon the employees belonging to Assam Secretariat Service to work dedicatedly with the spirit of ‘Team Assam’ to transform it into a front ranking state of the country. Addressing the 72 Annual Conference of Assam Secretariat Service Association at Gana Sewa Bhawan in Janata Bhawan on Tuesday, Chief Minister Sonowal assured the employees for a state of the art auditorium along with an additional building to be built in the premises of Janata Bhawan.

Chief Minister Sonowal also said that State government has set an objective of making Assam one of the front rankers. In order to reach the target, Sonowal asked the employees to put in their best efforts and dedicate themselves for the progress of the state. He, however, attributed the achievements made by the present State government in the last three years to the sincerity, dedication and devotion of the employees.

As per a press release, Sonowal also said that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India has reached a new height in value-based governance which has made the country unique in the landscape of world politics. He also said that in the backdrop of immense potential prevalent in the state, everybody has to put in their best efforts to enable the state to perform and progress in all aspects. The meeting presided over by the president of Sadou Asom Karmachari Parishad Basab Kalita was attended among others by Chief Minister’s Media Adviser and Legal Adviser Hrishikesh Goswami and Santanu Bharali respectively among others.
