CM shuffles ministry

GUWAHATI, April 26: Soon after induction of seven legislators into his ministry on Thursday, Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal has shuffled the portfolios. While Education and Guwahati Development Department (GDD), which were held by Himanta Biswa Sarma along with other portfolios, have been given to newly-inducted Cabinet minister Siddhartha Bhattacharya, Himnata has been given PWD as an additional portfolio. While Parimal Shuklabaidya had to cost his PWD portfolio, Pallab Lochan Das cost Revenue and Power and Ranjit Dutta cost Irrigation.
